Catcams use a comprehensive on-line Catalogue.
Due to the sheer number of part numbers (Over 2000 cams, 70% of which are online with the rest being added)
it is not practical to offer printed copies. The online version is constantly being updated as new
additions are made.
Visit www.catcams.be and to use the catalogue, first select Camshafts from the top menu.
Then Select the manufacturer from the lower left menu. If you cant find what your looking for straight away then look into
options within the same manufacturers group. i.e The Lancia Inergrale is listed under Fiat 4cyl4valve
Select the engine type you are looking for. Again you may have to search through a couple of
options to find your specific application (Ford have named everything either a Zetec or Duratec recently).
You should now have a list of cam profiles for you engine. The cams are divided into groups. Cams that run on
Original Equipment (OEM) followers, springs & retainers and those requiring uprated parts.
The cams are listed in order of the amount of lift @ TDC, road cams at the top moving down towards full race at the
bottom.
Clicking on the part number of a cam takes you to a screen with more details. At the top left there is the part
numbers of the Followers, Springs and Retainers (or OEM).
Under this there is additional information such as valve spring information (Always check this!), requirements for the
fuel/ignition (i.e ONLY for dirt track applications and pro street use with adjustable engine management or
carburettors)
and details of the cam design (I.e Flat Nose profile) along with any information regarding Vanos (Variable Cam Timing)
systems.
Further to this, clicking on the part number of the cam followers, springs and retainers takes you to further
information regarding dimensions, spring rates etc (these are also avilable from the menu at the top left hand side of the
screen).
At the top of the screen there are also links pictures of the cams (not fully supported) and the print button if you require a hard copy.
If you cant find a cam to suit your engine or requirements then please contact us, it may be available and not listed yet.
Custom grinds are no more expensive then the profiles listed and if your engine is not listed then all we require is a complete
cyliner head with cams followers etc and we can develop cams for you.
